• Installed as Raja by Sir Edward Maclagan (Governor of Punjab)
• prince/reformer promoted education - 15 new village schools Opened, introduced Physical education
• built/infrastructure Chamba town - drainage system; Water scarcity - A big tank; New power house; Chamba to Nurpur road; Chamba to Brahmaur road; suspension bridge on river ravi
• 1st November, 1921 the state came under the direct control of the Government of India in the Political Department.
• Died on the 7th December, 1935 at Lahore and was succeeded by 1.22 Lakshman Singh
